If provoked, a sticky Bugsnak can temporarily slow down the player. When trapped, they will cause the Snak Trap to remain stuck where it closed, necessitating the use of the Snakgrappler to retrieve it. Sticky Bugsnax may cause objects to stick to them on contact. Spicy Bugsnax are based on spicy foods, with the exception of Charmallow. To catch them, their fire must be doused by bringing them into contact with water, a whirlwind, or a frosty Bugsnak. Spicy Bugsnax are on fire, and will set the player and other Bugsnax ablaze on contact, as well as burn a Snak Trap to bits. Many Bugsnax have red variants, though not usually named after their color. Chandlo asks for aggressive, meaty Bugsnax as part of his side questline. Meaty Bugsnax are based on meat, or foods containing meat.
